What do you do when it is literally 100 degrees on your wedding day?! Roll with it, just like Sarah and George did! Did we have to make adjustments, yes! But they were so doable like only being outside midday for shorter periods and having lots of water on hand. We did family photos inside, and guests had umbrellas to keep the sun off during the ceremony. We made it work, and their day was just fantastic from start to finish! Now is a great time to capture some beautiful, candid and sweet photos of your family. We might not be able to see each other right now but we can share great photos with friends and family and bring a smile to their face during this stressful time.

I first met Lauren and Jason to photograph their engagement session and then photographed their beautiful wedding last fall. Fast forward to early spring when I received an email from Lauren with the exciting news that they were expecting their first child, to say I was thrilled for them is an understatement!

I love sharing pictures and even more so the stories highlighting the amazing people that I have the privileged of photographing in the Adirondacks and beyond. I can’t believe this will be my 60th blog post! I feel like 60 is a pretty cool number to get to : ) I bet 160 blog posts will be even more exciting! There are two things that never cease to amaze me; the stunning Adirondack mountains and how amazing and sweet my couples are. Cassandra reached out to me about photographing her wedding in the Hudson Valley this summer and I could not be more excited to be working with them. he fine river dust rose and fell with each step we took as we made our way down the path through the soft ferns along the bank or the river. The sun was streaming through the leaves as it sunk lower in the evening sky the night of their engagement session. I was so glad that Stevie and Logan were up for a small adventure before we headed to the second location we had planned for their engagement session in upstate NY.

When winter and spring collide it is pure magic in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. With soft warm breezes blowing through the valleys, and cool smooth ice still reflecting the blue skies above it is enough to take your breath away. This isn’t the beginning of their love story though…

Christina was a beautiful glowing mountain momma who was just all smiles standing next her love, with the mountains reaching up to the heavens behind them. We planned their session at the last minute while they were up for a vacation to the Adirondacks and Lake Placid to enjoy a little time away before the arrival of their baby girl. They were a joy to photograph, and as you can probably tell from their smiles and big laughs just a fun couple to spend an evening with!
