I don’t know if I have ever been at a wedding that was both really really hot and also had a torrential downpour during the wedding ceremony, but Jessica and Gianno were given the gift of both. But these two and their families just took it all in stride. The rain held off in Saratoga Springs during Jessica and Gianno’s first look and some of my favorite photos are of Jessica and her Bridesmaids with on the property with clear umbrellas.

Katie grew up spending summers with her family on Lake Champlain. The historic wedding venue, An Affair by the Lake is right across the Champlain Bridge and sits on a hill looking out onto Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. The air was crisp and cool but the sun was shinning on the mountains that were glowing auburn in the setting sun. An Adirondack winter wedding in Lake Placid is always memorable but this January day was truly special. The air was cold and crisp but the sun was shining on Sarah and Dr. Parish’s wedding day in the Adirondacks of upstate NY. With touches of gold, fur, and just a hint of the mountain spirit sprinkled in their winter wedding celebration was breathtaking.
