All weddings have challenges but the grace that couples face those challenges with really tells the story of their relationship. At Jessica and Gianno’s summer wedding in Saratoga Springs, they faced challenges that were completely out of their control on their wedding day. I was so glad that they just rolled with the challenges and still made the most of their amazing wedding day with joy and smiles the whole day.
I don’t know if I have ever been at a wedding that was both really really hot and also had a torrential downpour during the wedding ceremony, but Jessica and Gianno were given the gift of both. But seriously these two and their families just took it all in stride. The rain held off during Jessica and Gianno’s first look and some of my favorite photos are of Jessica and her Bridesmaids with on the property with clear umbrellas. The lush greens and soft pink color pallet of the wedding were perfect for their summer day.
I was so impressed with Anne’s Washington Inn’s ability to quickly move the ceremony inside and rolled with the challenges of the day. This is a good reminder for any time of year to have a backup plan for inclement weather. Make sure to take a good look at the wedding ceremony photos to see the torrential rain coming down. But isn’t their pup Comber seriously the cutest ring bearer! He was just so fun to have around and snuggle with after the ceremony!
Saratoga Springs is such a gorgeous area to host your wedding day and with so many beautiful venues to celebrate your wedding day you really can’t go wrong!
