Weddings in upstate NY always have the chance for rain, but if you are getting married in the Adirondacks it is just something to be embraced. Weddings with a little bit of rain are always some of my favorites and Helen and Lee embraced it. The photos at the canoe club were some of my favorites of the day. With the soft light, calm waters and beautiful pastel colors it looks like something out of a dream.

When you plan your Adirondack wedding, you hope for moments like the one Lindsay and Nathan had during their first dance. It was simply beautiful with nothing but green grass under their feet and blue skies above. Lake Placid has so many hidden gems and the South Meadow Farm is one of them!

From the moment the first rays of sunlight appeared over the mountains on June 9th, it was a beautiful day in the Adirondacks. When I first met Cara and  Andy I saw how much they respect and love one another.

There are two things that never cease to amaze me; the stunning Adirondack mountains and how amazing and sweet my couples are. Cassandra reached out to me about photographing her wedding in the Hudson Valley this summer and I could not be more excited to be working with them. When winter and spring collide it is pure magic in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. With soft warm breezes blowing through the valleys, and cool smooth ice still reflecting the blue skies above it is enough to take your breath away. This isn’t the beginning of their love story though…

Those were the words used when Lindsay told me what she wanted the feel of her wedding day to be. If I could wish one thing for my brides it would be for their day to be filled to the brim with those feelings! A stunning heartfelt engagement session at Reber Rock farm nestled in the Champlain Valley of upstate NY. This session is full of beauty, flowers, horses and smiles – everything I love! I am so thrilled to be photographing Chad and Gwen’s wedding in August at their new home!

We were standing under the shade of weeping willow tree waiting for his bride to make her way down the path. I could feel the anticipation in the warm summer air, hands fidgeting with his jacket as we waited, and then we heard the sound of tires approaching; it was almost time to see his bride, love, and best friend. 

Liz and Eric love spending long weekends in the Adirondacks hiking, and exploring the high peaks together, so it was only natural that they would decide to have their wedding day celebration in the Adirondacks!
