An intimate and heartfelt wedding in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY at the Ausable Club and Marcy Field. Emory and Jay still made it feel special with an elegant theme centered around the mountains and their shared love of fly fishing.

We drew our inspiration for the elopement from the mountains’ wonder and magic in the depths of autumn. The grasses in the valley fields turned copper, and the moss on the forest floor a deep velvet green that is the perfect complement to the yellow and orange leaves softly falling. I don’t know if I have ever been at a wedding that was both really really hot and also had a torrential downpour during the wedding ceremony, but Jessica and Gianno were given the gift of both. But these two and their families just took it all in stride. The rain held off in Saratoga Springs during Jessica and Gianno’s first look and some of my favorite photos are of Jessica and her Bridesmaids with on the property with clear umbrellas.
