Canfield Casino New Year’s Wedding is such an amazing celebration for a wedding. I was thrilled when Mary Kate and Cristian reached out about photographing their wedding day. Saratoga Springs is one of my favorite upstate NY towns. The Canfield Casino is one of the most beautiful venues in Saratoga. Their wedding was classic and timeless but infused with so much fun. It truly was one of my favorite weddings to be a part of.

The Saratoga National wedding venue truly has it all. With the vision that Kelly Strong Events brought to fruition for Adele, Luke and their families is was beyond breathtaking. Adele had envisioned a garden inspired wedding reception that was romantic and fresh. The team at Renaissance Floral Design truly worked their magic in creating a space that took your breath away.

Beautiful summer lake wedding in the Adirondacks of upstate NY. This wedding was relaxed and low key but still stylish and elegant. The brides wedding dress was a Lazaro Design from Kleinfield’s and Jimmy Choo heals. Proof that you can have a gorgeous wedding that ends in smores by the campfire!

Luxury destination weddings are 90% of the weddings that I photograph each year. Couples choose to host their wedding in the Adirondacks for so many reasons and I love that they choose this special place for their celebration.

We often talk about the Christmas spirit, but sometimes I don’t think we see it as often as we speak about it. Ashley and Steve’s wedding embodied what we believe Christmas is in our hearts. It is being with those we love most important, sharing a meal together, laughing and telling stories, hugging someone you have not seen in ages, toasting to new love and old. This is what we cherish at Christmas. This is what their Adirondack Christmas wedding was filled with.

The Lake Placid Lodge is one of the most serene places to get away to when you need to escape to the mountains. So many of my couples reach out to me for photographs while they are staying at the Lodge. It is always one of my favorite venues in the area. The Lake Placid Lodge sits on the Lake Placid’s shores with views of Whiteface Mountain from almost every room. There are no TV’s, which is fantastic because you find time to reconnect while sitting by the fire, enjoying the view from an Adirondack chair, cross-country skiing on the bounty of trails, or just enjoying a specialty cocktail at Maggie’s.

When your soon-to-be fiancé loves the snow and ice-skating, what could be better than proposing to her in Lake Placid? While also planning a snowy Adirondack engagement session in the forest for the next day! When Chris reached out to me about his surprise proposal plan in Lake Placid, I was on board from the start. Paige grew up spending time with her family in the Adirondacks, which could not have been more memorable.

Winter in the Adirondacks is one of my favorite times of the year. Winter is often overlooked for the summer or fall months but the snowy months are so amazing. It is worth braving the cold for gorgeous photos in the snow. Each year since their wedding Catherine and Rob have planned a special vow renewal with each other. This year they choose to have their winter vow renewal at the Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid! I could not have been more thrilled to photograph this special moment for Catherine and Rob. We then made our way to one of my favorite locations for portraits on film outside of Lake Placid.
