As the ice melts from the lakes and the daffodils start to bloom, and the buds slowly appear on the apple trees the mountains start to come out of their hibernation. A south meadows farm wedding is the perfect location for quiet ADK charm and stunning views of the mountains that surround them. South Meadow Farms in Lake Placid was the perfect venue for Nathan and Lindsay’s wedding ceremony in the Adirondacks.
Lindsay and Nathan had been planning their small south meadows farm wedding for months and I was so glad that they had a beautiful spring day for it. Avid hikers and lovers of the Adirondacks, their wedding was perfectly them. They embraced an outdoor wedding and let the day unfold naturally.
One of my favorite moments of the day was Lindsay and Nathan’s first dance. Their first dance was simply beautiful with nothing but green grass under their feet and blue skies above. After their first dance, we captured group photos and their portraits around the property. After cake, we headed to Cascade Lakes for a few more photographs while everyone made their way to the Whiteface Lodge for dinner.
What a perfect way to celebrate the start of their marriage! A beautiful ceremony, cake before dinner, and sweet photographs in a place they love so much.
