Katie grew up spending summers with her family on Lake Champlain so it was only fitting that her wedding would be in a place that is so special. An Affair by the Lake is right across the Champlain Bridge and sits on a hill looking out onto Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains in the distance. It is a stunning venue, perfect for outdoor weddings!
The day of Katie and Joe’s wedding the weather was absolutely beautiful. In the fall the weather can range from chilly fall days to warm sunny days that feel like spring. The sky was so blue that day with puffy white clouds and a warm breeze coming off the waters.
Joe’s face was pure joy during the first look, and I loved that they had this time together before all of their family and friends arrived! From a beautiful ceremony with readings by their family to gorgeous flowers and a band that kept everyone dance into the night, it was an amazing wedding day. The night was topped off with a fireworks show over the water that was amazing, I don’t know how Katie and Joe’s wedding could have been better.
