There are so many ways I thought about writing Jenny and Frankie’s featured blog post. I could talk about the beautiful florals, or her stunning dress, the heirloom doves on their wedding cake, or the amazing toasts given by their best man and maid of honor. What really comes to mind first though was the look on Frankie’s face when he saw Jenny coming down the aisle. He was looking at her like there was nothing else in the world that mattered except that he was getting to marry her on that winter’s day in February and the utter shock of how beautiful she was!
There is always a photograph that I am so excited to show Cole when I am sorting and backing up the photographs from a wedding day, and that was the one photograph that really stood out in my mind : ) I believe those moments are why we photograph weddings, the moments that take our breath away and the ones we want to remember the feeling of in those precious moments.
I felt like I connected with Jenny and Frankie when they first reached out to me and again when we met in the late fall at the Whiteface Lodge to walk through their wedding day. They had been planning a beautiful, classic and romantic wedding day and it all came together so beautifully the day of their wedding.
I am a sucker for gorgeous florals, sweet cakes, elegant wedding dresses and dancing until your heals come off or tie in the case of Frankie : )
I could go on and on about their amazing wedding day, but I think I will just let the photographs tell their story instead! Thank you Jenny and Frank, your friends and family for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
