Lake Placid Lodge Luxury Summer Wedding

It is so easy to understand why my couples choose to say their vows on their wedding day in Adirondack mountains! At the Lake Placid Lodge each season in the Adirondacks brings with it something completely unique and special; from wildflowers filling the fields, to warm summer evenings and flaming orange leaves in the fall. The winter brings soft white snow heavy on the pine trees for stunning photographs.

There is a wild beauty here that I truly believe is unmatched anywhere else. Kristen and Mike traveled all the way from California for their destination wedding in Lake Placid this summer. They celebrated their marriage at the stunning Lake Placid Lodge on the shores of Lake Placid.

Kristen and Mike were truly amazing. They planned their intimate wedding at the Lake Placid Lodge in a matter of months with the help of Eden Elkaslasy from the Lodge. Kristen’s family resides in upstate NY and also helped immensely with the planning. She wanted a simple intimate ceremony in the mountains with beautiful florals and her closets family and friends to be present.

The mountain wedding was a labor of love, with family being a part of all aspects of their wedding day. Kristen’s sister Sarah, of Boquet Valley Blooms, created her stunning wedding bouquet and table centerpieces. She also designed an arch that took your breath away for their ceremony. The wedding ceremony was presided over by her brother-in-law Jay. Jay did a beautiful job celebrating their love and sharing Kristen and Mike’s journey together. I always adore ceremonies when a family member is the officiant : )

After the wedding ceremony glasses of champaign were enjoyed in the warm summer air. The happy couple cruised around Lake Placid soaking in the sunshine and epic views of the Lodge and mountains!
