Adirondack Wedding at the Long View Lodge

Wedding at the Long View Lodge in the Adirondacks

When Jodi and I first started talking about her wedding day in Long Lake it was nearly two years before her wedding date. It seems like it is almost too soon but time seemed to fly by and as we started to approach the day of Nick and Jodi’s wedding it seemed like time flew by.

Jodi and Nick’s wedding day was probably the hottest day the Adirondack Mountains saw all summer. With temps hovering in the high 90’s I think we were all happy the wedding ceremony was at least on the shores of Long Lake where a cool breeze blew over the water. Despite the heat though these two as well as their friends and family were a joy to photograph.

I had never photographed a wedding at the Long View Lodge since the majority of my weddings take place in the Lake Placid, Keene, and Saranac Lake area. The Long Lake area is a stunning location and one that I hope to photograph many more times. Jodi and Nick’s wedding was the first event the The Long View Lodge had hosted since its extensive renovations that year. I loved the wrap around porch that looks out over the lake from the Hotels vantage point on a hill overlooking Long Lake.

Thank you so much Jodi and Nick for allowing me and Kleigh to capture your beautiful day.
