Romantic Summer Wedding at Harmony Golf Club

[et_pb_section][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text]”Dreamy and romantic” is really the only way I could describe Alicia and Adam’s summer wedding in the stunning Champlain Valley of Upstate NY. Nestled between Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains the Champlain Valley is probably one of the prettiest locations in upstate NY. Alicia and Adam had been planning their destination wedding from Illinois for over a year. When the day came and the dream became reality, it was truly a labor of love for everyone who had poured their time and talent into making their wedding day come alive. With puffy clouds over head and rays of sun peaking through, the fields surrounding Harmony glowed golden in the late afternoon sun. Alicia and Adam said their vows to one another with family and friends soaking in the moment. When a family member officiates the wedding ceremony it can make the day even a little more special. Adam’s sister Alysa did a beautiful job giving us a glimpse into their love and lives during the ceremony. During the reception I don’t think their was a dry eye in the place during the father daughter and mother son dance.  Alicia and Adam’s fathers both gave toasts to the new couple which were some of the best I have heard at a wedding! “I contacted Julia while living in Illinois and planning a wedding in the Adirondacks with my family (who live in Canada). Needless to say, it was a stressful situation and I was nervous about finding someone (via long distance) to photograph our special day.
