I was so glad to be asked to photograph Anne and Mike’s family portraits, in addition to Anne’s maternity photos. It makes my job easy when everyone is so laid back and open to suggestions. I am lucky to have meet Mike and Anne through a summer camp in the Adirondacks. We decided to take the maternity photos in a beautiful location in Essex, NY. For the newborn photos below we photographed baby Bennett in their family home in upstate New York. Bennett was very interested in what was going on, and had no interest in sleeping during his first photos. I love when babies are awake in photos, so I find those first photos full of cuteness! It also adds a little challenge for me, which I enjoy : )
